With over 35 years experience in the construction and development industry, Steven Gregory's diverse management experience on both the administrative and operational side of the business makes him uniquely qualified to manage a variety of real estate related projects and activities.
Having been a key manager and executive with James McNaughton Builders for over 27 years, Steve has been directly involved with the completion of over 25 development projects, nearly 1,000 attached and detached single family homes, and the management of more than 20 Homeowner Associations of varying size and budgets. As Chief Operating Officer of James McNaughton Builders for eight of those years, Steve held a leadership role in all aspects of the company's construction and real estate development efforts including land acquisition, contract negotiations, zoning & entitlements, development, sales & marketing and overseeing all construction related activities.
Steve spearheaded the company's move into Receiver Management services through the establishment of James McNaughton Property Services, Inc. Steve and JM-Property Services assisted area lenders on a variety of assignments ranging from construction repairs & completion work, Receiver Management of a 230 lot residential development and facilitating the release of a large Letter of Credit security on an abandoned project.
Steve is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and Community Association Manager, has served as a Municipal Plan Commission/ZBA member for eight years, Past President of the Northern Illinois Homebuilder's Association, Past President of the Attainable Housing Alliance and past member of the Dupage County Water Quality Committee. Steve enjoys a solid reputation as a knowledgeable and competent building and development professional.
